First Aid for Snake bite

 ❶  Keep the person calm

 ❷  Remove shoes, rings, watches, jewelry & tight clothing from the bitten area

 ❸  Avoid movement of the victim’s bitten limb

 ❹  Move the victim to the hospital as early as possible

Below mentioned first aid procedures are harmful

and should not be tried;   

   ❶ Trying to remove poison from the bite site

   ❷ Tying tourniquet  to the limb,

   ❸ Giving medicines of any kind or folk remedies

ತೊಳೆಯದ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ  ಕಣ್ಣು, ಮೂಗು ಅಥವಾ  ಬಾಯಿ-

-ಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿ

ಕೆಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಸೀನುವಾಗ  ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೂಗು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಯಿ-

-ಯನ್ನು ಕರವಸ್ತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ 

ಕೆಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಸೀನುವಾಗ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದ  ಕೈ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು 

(ಟಿಶ್ಯೂ ಪೇಪರ)ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು

ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಸೋಪು ಮತ್ತು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆಯಿರಿ

ನಿಮಗೆ ರೋಗದ  ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನುಪಡೆಯಿರಿ

Prevention

Avoid hugging, kissing and shaking hands when greeting 

Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands

Dispose off used tissues properly immediately after use

Regularly wash hand with soap and water

If you have flu like symptoms, seek medical advice immediately

If you have flu like symptoms, keep a distance of at least 1 meter from others
